Ansys Sherlock is a reliability physics-based electronics design tool that predicts product failure early in the design process and reduces expensive build-and-test iterations. It uses files created by the design team to build 3D models of electronic assemblies for trace modeling, post-processing of finite element analysis (FEA), and reliability predictions. Sherlock's capabilities include solder fatigue analysis, thermal-mechanical analysis, shock and vibration analysis, and more. It also has a parts library with over 500,000 parts that can be easily expanded by users.
