EchoExam has a great feature set that includes the ability to create LAN based tests and export tests to a question bank that can be imported into Moodle. It also includes the ability to span more than one sitting for a given test and recover lost connections. The software lacks some question formats available for use online, such as drag-able matching, label box filling, and drawing on a picture.

  • 🤔
    Average - rated users

EchoExam is easy to use and provides a clear-cut way to test. It also allows teachers to print out tests featuring multiple choice and essay responses. On tests featuring both multiple choice and extended response/essays, Examview will show a student's grade at the end of their test, but it is only the multiple choice score that is actually being seen. The overall look of Examview during testing is mostly gray, which isn't very visually stimulating/engaging.

  • 👎
    Low - rated users

EchoExam is difficult to use and has a confusing interface. It also lacks important features such as the ability to randomize questions and answers.
