Gingko App is a new kind of structured document. It allows you to break any project down into manageable components, reorganize them at will, and collaborate on them. Write in cards, and organize in trees. Initially built to write a PhD in Physics, Gingko has since grown into a powerful and flexible tool. It's been used to write technical documentation, screenplays, project specifications, legal briefs, science papers, and more. The core idea is to combine the power of outlines with the flexibility of index cards. The result is both simple and extremely powerful. Cards can contain: text (formatted in Markdown), images, code blocks, checklists, LaTeX equations, any HTML (including embedded videos/charts), and even CSS & Javascript (to customize your document's style & behavior). Your tree of cards can go as deep as you like. Even trees with several hundred cards are easy to navigate & manage.
