    High - rated users

Minotaur has proven to be a very reliable platform for our manufacturing, order processing and accounting. It has all of the key features that we require to manage our business.Windows GUI features are somewhat limited which means a bit steeper initial learning curve for someone new to the software. However, there are exceptionally easy fast-path key strokes built in for every single function as well as the ability to customize your own single click Icons which make it exceptionally fast and easy to use once you become familiar with the product. The printing function is the only real weakness - for the most part, reports print in old school courier 10 pitch with no alternatives. Customizing is possible but quite complex.

Minotaur's customer service and responsiveness to issues. They answer questions or concerns very quickly. Also, their ability to tailor the system to our needs and size in a rapidly changing environment. The ability to automate several of our processes. Both on the food processing side and shipping and receiving side.Reporting can be a little bit complex. There is lots of flexibility to it but understanding how to write reports can be tough.

Minotaur Business System Plan

Minotaur Business System offers a tiered pricing strategy with three versions ranging from $29 to $99 per month.
Core ERP System (main business package) $ 1 For 10 user licenses for 3 years then price drops to $450/month for continued license and support package
Minotaur sells its software license up front and then charges an annual license renewal and maintenance fee, beginning year 2, that includes an update and limited support. Many of our customers lease the program over 3 years to spread the cost out. The price quoted is the 3 year lease price, after 3 years the cost becomes just maintenance, which can be paid monthly. Core ERP includes General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Entry / Invoicing, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Lot/Serial Number Traceability, Advanced Report Writer, Marketing Program Tracking, CRM, Product Development, EDI ready*
Warehouse Management System (scanning) $ 800 An option to add to your 10 user Core System. This price is the price for the 3 year lease of the WMS, then the price drops to $325/month for continued license and maintenance.
Our Warehouse Management System is optional functionality that allows you to receiving, picking to production, do transfers, counting and shipping to customers all with scanning code 128 barcodes. Minotaur can print unit or skid barcodes if arriving goods do not have them already and for your interim and finished goods. You'll need either tablets with scanners (either wired or wireless bluetooth) or handheld computers for use with Minotaur's WMS. Most Minotaur customers are choosing Android ready devices.
Plant Floor Production Recognition $ 225 An option to add to a 10 User Core System for the first 3 years, then the price drops to $75/month for continued license and maintenance.
The core system allows for the bulk printing of labels when production is planned or entered after it is done. Minotaur's Plant Floor Production Recognition option allows for partial production to be recorded as having been made with the option to put the product into skids and print a skid label for reduced scanning. This module can either be tied to weigh scales producing a unique label for each item based on its weight or for standard weight items not tied to scales. It allows you to produce against a sales order or to inventory printing interim and/or finished goods barcode labels while also recording that production as being made. Note that network label printers are required and the computer(s) or tablet(s) used must connect to your server either through a wired connection or through wireless connectivity.
Implementation Support and Training $ 150 when purchased in 20 hour prepaid blocks. This equates to $800/month for 3 years if spreading out with a lease.
140 hours is a realistic number of hours ed for implementing a 10 user Core ERP system. Add approximately 60 more hours if you are also buying the handheld warehouse management system (WMS) option and another 10 hours if purchasing Plant Floor Production Recognition via touch screens. For more than 10 users I would add 20 hours for each additional 5 users. Hourly services help you successfully implement the Minotaur Business System are used for process consulting, configuring the system to your needs, setting up forms and label templates to your specifications, training your staff in the areas of the system they will be using, providing phone support, and assisting with loading starting data from an old system. There is no mandatory ongoing hourly services beyond the implementation period, but some Minotaur customers will want us to train new employees in the system.
