Customers like the simplicity and clean look of NueMD, but dislike the lack of explanation for errors and some of the controls taking more time. Recommendation is to know the controls. NueMD is used for billing, sending claims to insurances, and as a record for self-pay patients.

Low - rated users
The only pro is that the billing software is easy to use. However, the salesman gave misinformation on cost and functionality during the demo, training is minimal and must be scheduled during business hours, support takes 1-2 business days and may require scheduling at their convenience, and employees have narrow job duties and often do not follow through on problems. EHR templates have not been corrected after 3 months, and eprescribing and elabs are contracted out to Change Healthcare. Refill requests are faxed, portal does not allow transfer of documents, and functionality is outdated. Online payments require signing up for a PayPal account and paying fees. Not a user-friendly system or company.
