Powernet was established in 1992 in the basement of President Bernie Stevens'​ Cincinnati home. A pioneer of value-oriented communications services as primarily a reseller of residential long distance to agents and affinity groups, Powernet has matured to become a full-service provider of integrated voice, data, wi-fi and managed service provider to commercial customers.
