It often happens in ecommerce that customers order a wrong item by mistake or they change their mind after they have placed an order. In such cases, it’s a good practice to provide customers the option to submit an order cancellation request. Not only does it improve the user experience but also increases your store’s credibility. Magento 2 by default does not have this option. So if a customer makes a wrong order, they are not able to revert it.
